World Class Motoring Opens in Agoura Hills
By Eddie Kosakoski

A new chapter in the Valley's historic love affair with the automobile is being written in Agoura Hills with the recent opening of World Class Motoring, the region's quintessential source for all things celebrating the automotive aficionado's lifestyle.

A visit to the company's new headquarters and 1500 square foot showroom is truly an experience that can't be missed. Just one glance around the facility will tell you that you are truly in a place filled with a reverence for both the automobile and the historical impact of the automobile on culture especially in the Southern California area.

Upon entering, visitors are treated to a spectacular view of four automotive murals, hand painted by Swiss automotive artist, Nicolas Hunziker. The centerpiece features two Porsche 917's heading down the Mulsanne straight at LeMans. The feeling that is captured by these beautiful murals can be felt throughout World Class Motoring. The store features an extremely wide range of automotive accessories, unique gift items, automotive inspired artwork, and nostalgic clothing from the golden era of racing.

Whether you are shopping for car care products such as waxes and polishes, garage items like parking aides and creeper seats, or the perfect one of a kind gift for the auto enthusiast such as a limited edition J. Paul Nesse hand-sculpted bronze or a pair of Carol Shelby driving shoes, World Class Motoring has it all. They also offer custom made car covers, seat covers, and floor mats made from a wide range of fabrics and designed to perfectly fit any vehicle. Just off of the main showroom floor, World Class Motoring has constructed a well stocked automotive library and reading room showcasing a wide variety of rare automotive books and periodicals. It is the perfect addition to the store providing a place for the enthusiast to sit and read while enjoying a complimentary fresh-brewed cup of Village Coffee Roasters Coffee.

The state-of-the-art store had its grand opened in December with a celebration that featured visits by automotive enthusiasts from throughout the region, and a parking lot filled with exotics and collector vehicles such as Challenge Ferraris, aluminum body 427 Cobras, Lamborghinis, and a beautiful black and red Bugatti Veyron. During the opening, World Class Motoring invited its new customers to take a drive in the most advanced driving simulator on the market, The CXC SIMULATIONS MOTION PRO II. The ground-breaking revolution in automotive and racing simulation allows its drivers to drive just about any vehicle from a Ferrari F430 to a Formula 1 race car on any race track in the world, even tracks that are no longer in existence. In attendance, was well known motoring enthusiast Jay Leno, who arrived in a 1925 Stanley steam powered car and took his turn driving the CXC Simulator.

The weekends at World Class Motoring are also not to be missed. The store is quickly becoming the chosen meeting place/pit stop for the multitude of car clubs based in the Southern California area. In the last couple of weeks they have hosted the Tri Valley GTO club, the BMW Z8 club, and the Shelby GT 500 Mustang club to name a few. If you have a passion for the cars and car culture, are interested in the history of the automobile, or just want to check out a very unique store, World Class Motoring is the place.
