CALLING ALL SAN FERNANDO VALLEY BABIES
Valley Presbyterian's 50th Gives Birth to Reunion

Valley Presbyterian Hospital (VPH), is hosting a birthday party on Monday, March 24, from 1 to 3 p.m., for all babies born at the hospital over the past 50 years. The reunion will be held at the hospital's Jean and David W. Fleming Health Education Center in the Henry X. Jackson Auditorium. The event is part of a yearlong celebration commemorating Valley Presbyterian's 50th anniversary, themed "50 Years of Doing What Matters."

Anyone who entered the world at Valley Presbyterian Hospital is invited to attend and reunite with some of the dedicated staff that cared for them during the first days of their life. Babies, their parents, grandparents and other family members are invited to share in the fun.

The reunion will honor those born at a hospital that has delivered hundreds of thousands of babies over five decades; a hospital voted "Best Medical Center" two years in a row by readers of the Los Angeles Daily News.

"It's a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to connect with others that were born at Valley Pres and share stories," said President and Chief Executive Officer Albert L. Greene. "The event is intended as a way to welcome people back to the hospital and update them on how it's grown. We'd love to see generations of families take part in the festivities."

Guests will enjoy cake and refreshments and receive a commemorative gift during the two-hour event. Entertainment will include a special happy birthday tribute and other songs reminiscent of the past five decades. There will also be a guest appearance by Katherine Hollingsworth, the first baby born at Valley Presbyterian.

For more information about the reunion and to R.S.V.P., visit www.valleypres.org. If you have any questions, please call 818.902.2986.
