Itty Bitty Bras

The cold marine layer on a Thursday night in March didn't stop the women of Newport from bundling up and heading to a little courtyard on Balboa Island to check out the latest collection by Itty Bitty Bra. The trunk show held right outside the Sydney Michelle store was the perfect location to show off the new styles.
Jane Alden Hodgdon, founder and designer of itty bitty bra, is just like any other woman. She is a wife and a mother. She is also a small business owner. Jane was frustrated with going bra shopping and only finding bras that catered more to women who have a C cup or higher. Most bras out there would either slip on her or not provide the proper support. The few she could find she liked, were in crazy colors or had lots of lace. Something a mother doesn't want for every day wear. She wondered if there were other women out there who have the same problem. A few years ago she did her research and found that she wasn't the only one who wanted something better for her size. That is when Jane took things into her own hands and created itty bitty bra. This brand has found its way into a niche market of women who have a B cup size or smaller. It took time and lots of late nights, but Jane has built Itty Bitty Bra into a growing brand in limited boutiques in California, New York, Miami, and Jane's home state of Illinois. Sydney Michelle is one of the boutiques to carry the brand and have the latest collection proudly displayed throughout the store. During the trunk show, women were able to head into the store try and purchase one of many of Itty Bitty Bra's designs. Itty Bitty Bra is a brand that does very well for Sydney Michelle and the store's owner, Courtney Ellis, truly loves Jane and her product. After a recent trade show, Jane has told me that the collection will be available in more boutiques, including one in Utah.
Jane was on hand all night to answer questions about her product for those of us who came out to see what Itty Bitty Bra is all about. Jane spent the night talking with friends and making new ones. I was able to catch Jane for a few minutes and could tell this is a woman who believes in her product and loves creating something that so many other women love as well. I also got a chance to talk to her husband and he told me "She is a great mother and also a dedicated business woman. She spends all day with the kids and after she puts them to bed she spends a good part of the night working on Itty Bitty Bra." This is a woman that cares about her product and brand.
The styles that were being featured on this chilly night were classic bra, panties and camisole. The camisole is available in chocolate brown, black, leopard and black/white polka dot. The bra and panties are available in black, black/white polka dot, pink, white, nude, and black leopard print.
Strapless bras also can be a problem for women who wear a B cup or smaller, as they don't always fit like they should. This summer Itty Bitty Bra Summer Collection will include a strapless bra with removable pads for those nights you want a little bit more. They will be available in pink, black and black and white polka dots.
