2010 Juried Open

The Juried Open exhibit takes place on Jan. 13 - Feb. 7. Peter Mays, is the Juror

Following the lead of the first Topanga Artists' Guild in the 1950's, Topanga Canyon Gallery brings together more than 40 well-known and emerging artists from the greater Los Angeles area, with over half from Topanga Canyon. The gallery was originally founded in the 1980's and opened at its current location in Pine Tree Circle in the fall of 2000. Every month the gallery hosts a new show and opening reception, featuring two to three of the gallery artists or a gallery-wide show.

They encourage the public to come visit in person when in the Los Angeles area (a special hello goes out to Canadian and European friends who have written and visited them!), and bring a sense of adventure, a full tank of gas (there is no gas station in the canyon), and a relaxed spirit.

If you are in need of a relaxed spirit, this area has long been known for it's recuperative effects, excellent parks and restaurants, and friendly people besides its creative energy and other delights. See the current artists' work, breathe the freshest air in the Southland . . . and you may even go home with a new favorite art work and a story to tell. Open Tuesday - Saturday 10a.m. - 6p.m. & Sunday 11a.m. - 5p.m. Pine Tree Circle, 120 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Suite 109, Topanga.
