Jagco Productions, Executive Producers Joe A. Giamalva and Stephen W. Graham proudly present international television and stage personalities, The Golddiggers, on stage at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood August 6-9 for five performances only.

Performances at the El Portal begin with a low priced preview on Thursday, August 6; Gala Red Carpet Opening Night on Friday, August 7 at 8 pm and performances on Saturday, August 8 at 3pm and 8 pm and Sunday, August 9th at 3 pm. Michael Teilmann, Executive Director of The Bob Hope USO Hollywood will introduce the girls at the gala opening night August 7th. Members of the military will be given a special discount at all performances.

Six of the original Dean Martin Golddiggers have reunited after nearly 40 years to entertain audiences with all of the wonderful moments and nostalgia from The Dean Martin Show. The six include Sheila Allan, Suzy Chadham, Jackie Chidsey, Susie Ewing, Rosie Cox, Gitlin and Nancy Sinclair - who have (since the show ended in 1972 ) married, raised families and pursued their own separate lives with gusto. They always managed to get together every 5 to 10 years and in 2003, at the 35th Golddiggers Reunion in Las Vegas, they decided to get back together as a performing group. The rehearsals began and the bookings kicked off with a television special; The Bob Hope Salute from the American Patriot Award.

The "girls" who are all young, attractive, and 60ish are definitely ready for the big time again. With the support and guidance of producer/ director Joe Giamalva the future looks very exciting for The Golddiggers - "everything old is new again." The Golddiggers have traveled the world, twice entertained at the White House, performed at the Emmy Awards in 1971, recorded hit albums and worked with most of televisions major stars in the 1970's, as well as their television show for three years. Joining the "girls" as the sidekick comedians will be Ronnie Sperling and Jerry Hauck. Based in Los Angeles, these two funny men are the in-house comics at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Their careers span from live corporate events to game show hosts as well as sit-coms and commercials.

Director/producer Joe Giamalva brings a diversity of experience to the show as a producer, director, choreographer and teacher. From a theatrical debut at age 4, he has moved with ease between stage, theatre, nightclubs and movies. As a performer, he has toured the world with such stars as Raquel Welch, Tony Martin and Cyd Charisse, Donny and Marie Osmond, and Cher. In the music video world, he can be seen with Janet Jackson in "When I Think of You." On Broadway he danced in "The Happy Time" with Robert Goulet, as well as toured the United States in over 25 hit musicals. His movie credits include: "New York, New York" starring Liza Minelli, "Sextette" with Mae West, and "Mr. Saturday Night" starring Billy Crystal. Joe toured with "Disney on Parade" for 3 years, playing the role of the star himself - Mickey Mouse. Joe has produced, directed and choreographed many musicals such as: "Man of La Mancha," "Cabaret", "Brigadoon", "Me and My Girl", "The Music Man," and most of the Gilbert and Sullivan musicals. His commercials include: Mattel Toys, McDonalds, and Leggo Toys. On T.V. sitcoms he has danced and choreographed for "Day by20Day," "Coach," and "The Nanny" starring Fran Drescher.

Long before "The Spice Girls" and long before "The Pussycat Dolls" came The Golddiggers, and now a new generation will have the opportunity to see and hear the original group that started it all! The El Portal Theatre is located at 5269 Weddington Street in the No Ho Arts District of North Hollywood. For Tickets and information please call 818-508-4200.
