Mukhande Yoga Studio Opens in Granada Hills

Mukhande Yoga Studio is opening in Granada Hills and they are offering free classes for their first customers!

Mukhande Yoga Studio focuses on Kundalini Yoga. This is a beautiful practice of yoga. As with other forms of yoga, physical postures (asana) and breath work (pranayama) are components of kundalini yoga. However, they also incorporate mantra (positive and powerful affirmations in the form of sound vibration) as well as meditation.

The focus of the physical practice is to raise the kundalini energy, which resides dormant at the base of the spine, up through the spine and throughout the entire chakra system of the body in preparation for meditation and enlightenment.

Kundalini yoga is an inward practice with much of a yoga set performed with eyes closed and attention redirected on the self in order to quiet the mind. The intention is to reach a place of stillness and attain enlightenment.

Classes begin on March 22, 2010. FREE CLASSES from March 22, 2010 - April 3, 2010
17609 Chatsworth St., Granada Hills.
