Actress Ginger Kroll Offers Her Top 7 Spring Looks
By Staff Writer

Every woman loves fashion, and actress Ginger Kroll is no exception. With a keen eye for what's hot, Ginger knows what's in and what's out. Working with some of New York's hottest photographers and stylists, Ginger's passion for music and the performing arts transpired into a love for looking great. Whether it's for a causal night out with friends, or a star-studded red carpet premiere, Ginger always looks chic. From blazers and jumpsuits, to shoes and accessories, Ginger's got all the styling bases covered. Now she wants to share her insight on this spring's fashion trends with you.

Although fashion week is all about fall, a gal needs to know what to wear right NOW. Valley Scene Magazine got to chat a bit with this beautiful actress as she offered her top looks for spring.

7 Trends for Spring '09

1. Blazers are always in style when worn correctly. A blazer is great for an evening out and adds a casual touch to a party dress with sleeves sometimes pushed up and hardly ever buttoned. Wear a blazer with jeans for a more defined look. From Dolce & Gabbana to Stella McCartney and DKNY, they are all over the runways for fashion week.

2. Jumpsuits are back! Romper and jumpsuits are big for this spring and I am so excited! Try one either for a casual day look or as a dress alternative for the evening. For example, Jay Godfrey has a silk, strapless jumper that's to die for! I can not wait to get my hands on it!

3. Beach cover-ups are more popular than ever this season. They're more refined and many have lace detail that makes them more sophisticated. Definitely a must-have for Spring!

4. Ok, so here's comes the leather… There's a lot of leather strutting on the spring '09 runways. Everyone who is anyone has it in their collections. From Bottega Veneta, Just Cavalli, to Pucci and Gucci-leather is in. Find the right piece for you, within your budget and rock it out with jeans, accessories-whatever! You don't' have to be a Rock and Roll Star anymore to pull it off. Leather is easy to incorporate into an outfit.

5. Shoes, shoes, shoes! Every girl loves shoes. What's in this spring? Well, there's a lot of detail in shoes now. Hot ones are bejeweled, decked-out, and with a very high-heel. NY magazine just did an article on the "dangerous shoe" - a lot of funky, deadly looking designs. Don't go simple on your footwear this spring, jazz it up! And don't forget to add that extra inch!

6. In style colors… Light grey, white as well as flesh and sand tints seem quite popular right now. It's a great look for those not wanting to show a lot of skin ~ but it's still really sexy. Try a soft-colored top with jeans and high heels for a great, polished, trendy look.

7. Big hoop earrings are in! From the classic gold hoop to larger plastic hoops-these earrings look great. The expression is very daring and all over the streets in NYC. Just be sure to not over-accessorize or overwhelm your outfit when you're wearing them.
