Midwife led care is associated with benefits for mother and babies. Midwives are experts in normal birth providing personalized care, excellent outcomes at a lower cost and with less use of unnecessary medical technology. Midwives have an important role in providing maternity care.

Deborah Frank, CNM is proud to be the first private practice nurse-midwife on staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (CSMC). On March 29th, she delivered the first baby in her practice at CSMC. This ground breaking change will allow women of Los Angeles access to midwifery care in this highly respected medical center. Women will receive prenatal care from Deborah in her office with her midwife associate Stefanie Fieno, CNM and then deliver their babies with her at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Physician colleagues, Paul Crane, MD and Anthony Chin, MD are an integral part of the midwives practice as they provide medical backup for midwife attended births at CSMC.
