Chelsea E., star of reality show Paradise Hotel 2, is hands down, one of the most watched Asian-American artists on the rise in the music industry today. With a new album titled, "Greenlight Girl" on the way, Chelsea E. is on the road to pop music stardom. Her music has been compared to Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly Furtado, Fergie, and Pink - and with this long line of leading ladies who all have mastered fashion and perfected their styles, Chelsea E. stands in good company. She is known for her sense of style and taste, combining a sexy, sultry look with the most fashionable pieces each season, and pulling of a trendy, yet effortless style. With winter said and done, the rising star has shared her top the fashion tips for the So Cal ladies this spring:

1. This spring, bright colors are making a big comeback. They remind me a bit of the 80s, but they have more of a modern twist now. Bright pinks, blues, yellows, and greens can make your wardrobe much more fun, and since it is one of the hottest trends for spring, I say go for it and buy a few things that you might normally pass up in a store!

2. Floral prints are definitely in style this season. This look can be hard to pull off, I remember when I was growing up my parents would dress me in horrible, crazy flower print dresses - so to pull off those prints again, you have to make it look chic, and effortless. The best example of a floral print worn right would be what Carrie Underwood wore to the Grammy's. The dress was made from a very busy fabric, but the way she wore it, sleeveless, and form fitting, it looked great.

3. Thin belts are a big fashion staple for spring. You can get the belts in all different colors, and by buying a brightly colored belt you can incorporate the "bright color look" subtly into your wardrobe. Baggy dresses and shirts can look very unflattering, but they are still "in," so if you add a skinny belt to it, you can bring the fabric in closer to your body, making the look form fitting. It is not only flattering to your body, but a very stylish way to wear the "baggy" look.

4. Vintage swimsuits are coming back for spring and summer! The one-piece swimsuits that are reminiscent of the 1940's and 1950's are popping up everywhere, and I love them. It is great because if you are a little uncomfortable wearing a skimpy two-piece, this is a great alternative, and a retro gingham swimsuit is so cute!

5. Off the shoulder dresses are the way to go for spring. They are all over the red carpet; however, you can totally wear them off the red carpet too. I like to call it the "Grecian" look. I love soft, flowing spring dresses in neutral colors, and having one shoulder exposed is a sexy look, without being too sexy.

6. Peek a boo cutouts in dresses and shirts are very "in" - just be careful because this trend can look trashy sometimes instead of chic! Also, sheer layers are a big trend as well. They are feminine and flirty, and make you feel effortlessly pretty. Plus when the weather heats up, it keeps you cool!

7. Pencil skirts are still in! They are classy, chic, and can pull pretty much any outfit together. I like to have a black, white, and tan pencil skirt in my wardrobe. You can spice one up with a brightly colored top, and make it look funky with come chunky jewelry.

8. Jumpsuits are in this season. I have been seeing them in neutral colors, almost like a safari outfit. They are super cute when paired with platform shoes - and the combination of heels and short shorts can make your legs look amazingly long. Safari everything and earth toned tops and pants are huge this spring.

9. Sailor pants are "in" - which is a great alternative to the popular "skinny" jean. Now don't get me wrong, I love the skinny jeans, but sailor pants can look very polished, especially if they have a high waist, and if you pair it with a cute, simple top, tucked in. High-waisted everything is big for spring and summer.

10. I can't leave out the shoes - brightly colored shoes, heels, flats, everything can make your outfit spectacular this spring. If you are wearing a plain outfit, having a pair of bright green, blue, or hot pink shoes can spice up the whole thing. Also wooden heels with cutouts in them are a great look; they are almost like works of art, on your feet!
