Remember, for many people sunglasses are all about looking cool, but it can also save your eyes. That's right, sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful sun rays even on those hazy days when you can't decide whether to wear your favorite pair or not. In fact, hazy days in the sun are more dangerous than the sunny days and it all has to do with the UV light rays that are finding a way into your eyes. So, when buying a pair of sunglasses remember that the standards for lenses are only concerned with UVB and UVA rays. However, these standards only mark that the sunglasses must block at least 70% of UVB and at least 60% of UVA. For the best protection you should find sunglasses that provide at least 98% protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
