There is A Reason Why They Call Them "Great Wraps"
By Crystal Johnson

Fast food tends to get a bad rap but the owners of the newly opened Canoga Park location of Great Wraps aren't your typical fast food. They offer a healthy and yummy alternative. Great Wraps also does not compromise on their flavor. They present several wraps; ranging from South Beach Tuna to California Turkey with the most popular being the Chipotle Chicken, Buffalo Chicken and the Hummus Veggie. I got the opportunity to try out the most popular sandwiches on the menu. Each wrap was extremely flavorful as well as tasty and unique..
The green color ed Hummus Vegan wrap is great, sure to please vegans because it is filled with sundried tomato and a decent hummus. The most popular wrap, the Chipotle chicken is sweet rather than spicy. The wrap is made of honey wheat and filled with chicken. It is a delicious choice. The Buffalo chicken is an ultra yummy choice. It is the second most popular choice on the menu. If you like spicy food then this is the sandwich for you. The red colored mind-boggling sandwich oozes with blue cheese dressing and spices assuring that you enjoy every bite.
Wraps are a great option for company parties during the holiday season. The catering menu includes sandwiches, fruit, and dessert trays. The dessert tray consists of a variety of cooking options including but not limited to chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. As for the fruit trays, menu items are seasonal but pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, grapes and kiwi are usually popular mainstays.
If you simply want to pick up some takeout, do not expect fries with your meal. Instead Great Wraps offers healthy baked chips such as the Lays brand and kettle chips made fresh in the store. Owners Leanne and Yogi also make sure that when they make a wrap for their own children that vegetables make their way into it such as tomato, cucumber, onion and lettuce. So parents be encouraged, there is a way to get vegetables into the mouths of your babes at Great Wraps.
Great wraps have tasty toppings to please the palate. Powdered spices flavors include Loaded Potato, Ragin Cajun, Chili Cheese Cha-Cha, Hellacious Jalapeño and Peppercorn Ranch. Bags are provided to shake up the chips and the spices. This could be a fun and tasty alternative to McDonalds for the family. The owners hope to expand to at least two more locations in the future. For the Wi-Fi location seeker, the location provides free Wi-Fi.
Things to note about the Canoga Park Great Wraps location include opening for business at 10AM, smoothies are available, there is a handicap accessible table. The restaurant can also be reserved for private parties. The décor is comfortable and inviting. The restaurant is sparkling clean and has big windows to contribute bright environment in the day.
Great Wraps is located in Canoga Park at 7234 Canoga Avenue between Sherman Way and Valerio. For more information call 818.884.1323 or fax your order to 818.884.1489
