“Spotlight on Style” Fashion Show Ramped Up and Ready to Dazzle

Conejo Valley's premier fashion event "Spotlight on Style" will take place Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. The Casa Pacifica Angels and hosts Janet and Gregg Van Huisen are pleased to present this exciting day of elegance that will begin with a champagne reception. A delectable luncheon catered by Sherwood Country Club will be served midday, after guests spend the morning browsing through select boutiques where a unique collection of accessories and gifts will be available for purchase throughout the day. A silent auction will offer baskets filled to the brim with amazing experiences and incredible "must-haves." Among the items to be auctioned off include Tickets for four (4) to a taping of ELLEN, a20weekend getaway to

San Francisco, a deluxe spa package, and much more.

The highlight of "Spotlight on Style" is always the runway fashion show featuring New York models wearing the latest styles in designer fashions. Kate Spade and Madison are just two of the names that attendees will recognize on stage this year. Four handsome gentlemen, winners of last year's "Male Model" auction, will showcase men's fashions. Television personality and beauty expert Kym Douglas is scheduled to serve as the show's emcee.

Michelle Sievers, the "Spotlight on Style" chairman, is looking forward to a spectacular afternoon, "Our fashion show has a well-deserved reputation for being the event that brings the best in fashion to the Conejo Valley area.

All proceeds from the "Spotlight on Style" fashion show benefit Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families. Casa Pacifica is a crisis-care and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected, or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Located in Camarillo, CA, the agency is the largest non-profit provider of children's mental health services.
