There are many options to installing tiles in your home. Here are some of your options:
Glass tiles:
There's a massive array of ornamental glass tiles on the market today and they are okay for both home and commercial applications. Glass tiles are a great choice for giving interior and exterior surfaces a decorative design. Glass tiles or compatible with plenty of other tile types, which let them, be used in combination with other tile types like stone, wood, ceramics, and metal tiles.
Glass tiles for flooring are designed with an anti slip surface making them a superb choice for bathrooms, pools, pool areas, and even kitchen floors. With the recent improvement in the material compound glass, tiles make for a superb choice for commercial flooring as well .
Vinyl tiles:
Vinyl tiles provide a wide variety of colors and deign to choose between ; are easily installed and are a very cost-effective choice of floor tile. Vinyl tile will last for many years and can be very sturdy depending on the quality of the tile (the thicker the tile the more durable they're going to be ).
Care and upkeep of the vinyl tile floor is easy with consistent sweeping and with an occasional mopping, your vinyl floor will look great and last for several years. Make sure that when mopping you follow the manufactures recommendation ; as mopping with too much water will finally degenerate the vinyl floor adhesive ; waxing damages the vinyl's wear layer ; and some cleaners may actually dull the vinyl's appearance.
Marble tiles:
Marble is one of the oldest forms of floor tile it can be highly shined which brings out its beauty and can be found in a big variety of colors and natural patterns. Minerals such as iron and carbon in the marble are what give it its unique look and natural swirled appearance this is what makes marble so beautiful especially when cut. Marble is one of the most traditionally used building materials due to its beauty and style and give a special historic touch to your design.
Slate stone tiles:
Slate stone has a moderate toughness are compact with and smaller homogeneity that means that their compounds can change greatly. The surface is medium to fine grained and has a virtually sandy appearance yet it still has a superb shining assets. Some of the commoner colors are copper, sea green, peacock, multicolored, silver gray, and black. Slate tile can be found with either natural or polished surfaces.
Formed through a sedimentary process, limestones are siliceous calcium carbonate rocks They have awfully low water assimilation, are hard, compact rocks and resistant to stains. The surface texture is extremely fine grained which give them very good polishing quality. Some of the more preferred colors are blue, green, brown, desert yellow and coal black. Limestone tiles can be found in both natural and polished surface.
Wooden tile:
A top quality wooden floor is an expression of approach to life and symbol of standing. Wooden floors mix well with any kind of decor ; it gives you a warm, sophisticated, and conventional look and feel.
